CSR & Brand Equity
My dissertation talks about the link between company's involvement in corporate social responsibility and a consumers perception of the company. CSR is spoken about more and more as a requirement of business plans, but does making it a requirement mean it is no longer CSR? Are companies still getting away with greenwashing? Has social media made us more or less trusting of companies? Ultimately, there are many factors that strengthen and weaken a company's brand equity, but do those who care really win?
